Friends of Sterling Seniors (FOSS)
Welcome to the Friends of Sterling Seniors (FOSS)
The Friends is a non-profit group dedicated to promoting the health and welfare of Sterling seniors.
We provide financial and moral support to the Sterling senior Center by raising funds for activities, programs, and equipment that enhance the lives of our seniors.
We volunteer our time, ranging from a few hours each month to seasonal and year-long projects that make a difference in the quality of the lives of our seniors.
Mission Statement
The purpose of FOSS is
- to educate the community and encourage interest in elder issues;
- to promote programs and services benefiting Sterling seniors and other residents of Sterling in need;
- to supplement funds not provided by local, state or federal government through seeking membership donations, fundraising events, grant monies and private/corporate gifts.
How can you help?
