There are six cemeteries in town that we maintain which contain approximately 37 acres of land.
Hillside Cemetery is located on Clinton Rd, just outside the center of Town and on the right as you head east towards Clinton.
Oakhill Cemetery is located on Clinton Rd, just outside the center of Town and on the left as you head east towards Clinton. It was first established in approximately 1858.
Chocksett Cemetery opened in the early 1700's and is located in the center of town between Maple Street and Clinton Road.
Legg Cemetery is located on the corner of Dana Hill Road and Redemption Rock Trail (Route 140.) It is the burial place of Robert B. Thomas, Esq., the originator of The Farmer's Almanac.
Fairbanks Cemetery is the only family cemetery in town and is located on Chace Hill Road between Swett Hill and Kendall Hill Roads.
Cookshire Cemetery is on the east end of Boutelle Road near the Houghton/Chocksett School.
