Business Licenses
The Select Board is the licensing authority for businesses which wish to operate within the Town of Sterling. Applicants should complete the appropriate application, available below, and submit the form, along with the required fee, to the Office of the Select Board.
All license holders are also required to complete the Revenue Enforcement and Protection Form and the Workers' Compensation Insurance Affidavit.
Please note that certain businesses that are not registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts may also be required to obtain a Business Certificate from the Town Clerk's office.
