MASS GOV ALCOHOL LICENSING WEBSITE
The Select Board acts as the Local Licensing Authority for all retail pouring or package store licenses in the Town of Sterling, in accordance with the Alcohol Board of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Those interested in applying for a retail alcohol permit must fill out all of the paperwork, which can be accessed through the ABCC website at https://www.mass.gov/alcoholic-beverages-retail-licenses. Please note that all modifications to an existing permit must also begin with the paperwork which is available at the ABCC website.
Those seeking a one day permit must fill out the request form and submit it to the Select Board office.
