How to Become an Election Worker
How do I Become an Election Worker?
Requirements:
- Be a registered voter in Massachusetts
- Attend a mandatory training session
- Be available to work Election Day from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM (or later). Half day shifts are also available
- Be able to assist with a variety of election-day duties
- Not be a candidate on the ballot for the current Election
- Complete a CORI Form (for working in the school building)
Election Workers will receive:
- Training before the Election
- $15.00 per hour worked
- Either lunch or dinner on Election Day, depending on shift (or both if working the full day)
Election workers may also be assigned to assist with Early Voting.
