From May 2018 to May 2019, the Master Plan Team, which was a citizens-lead group, hosted various master plan topic/chapter meetings with planning consultant Judi Barrett of Barrett Planning Group.  These meetings were open to the public and were well-attended by all interested persons.

In June 2019, the Select Board officially appointed an official Master Plan Committee. We have and will continue to be open to all interested persons and have spent the past several months learning about the Master Plan process and are ready to move Sterling forward with the Master Plan initiative.

Master Plan Open House!

Next Gen Sterling!

The Sterling community was energized at the Master Plan Open House!  The turnout was unbelievable. The energy in the room was amazing!  It was exciting to hear ideas shared and debated and see the suggestion board covered with post-it notes.  It was truly a great day for the town of Sterling!
