Sterling’s Open Space and Implementation Committee (OSIC) is seeking an additional board member due to vacancy
OSIC was established in 2003 as a permanent town committee, to broaden awareness of and enhance public access to Sterling’s significant open space, cultural and recreational resources. The OSIC Board has a vacancy, which we hope to fill with a person with interest in both preservation and responsible utilization of Open Space, which is a defining characteristic of the Town of Sterling. Board members meet monthly, and generally take on some specific responsibilities. We would in particular welcome a board member with skills in one or more of the following areas: grant writing experience; familiarity with posting information to social media and the web; CIS, GPS and mapping skills; publicity and presentations. If interested, contact Peder C. Pedersen (firstname.lastname@example.org ).
