Sterling’s Open Space and Implementation Committee (OSIC) Seeking Board Member

Sterling’s Open Space and Implementation Committee (OSIC) is seeking an additional board member due to vacancy

OSIC was established in 2003 as a permanent town committee, to broaden awareness of and enhance public access to Sterling’s significant open space, cultural and recreational resources. The OSIC Board has a vacancy, which we hope to fill with a person with interest in both preservation and responsible utilization of Open Space, which is a defining characteristic of the Town of Sterling. Board members meet monthly, and generally take on some specific responsibilities. We would in particular welcome a board member with skills in one or more of the following areas: grant writing experience; familiarity with posting information to social media and the web; CIS, GPS and mapping skills; publicity and presentations. If interested, contact Peder C. Pedersen (pedersen@wpi.edu ).
