Real Estate Tax and Personal Property Tax
To pay a real estate or personal property tax bill online, you will need your bill number and the fiscal year for which the bill was issued.

If the due date for your bill has past, you may not pay your bill online. Please contact the Treasurer/Collector's Office.
Excise Tax
You will need your bill number and the fiscal year for which the bill was issued to pay your excise tax online.
If you are paying your bill before the due date, or after receiving your first demand notice, click here.
If a warrant has been issued for your excise tax bill (but not marked at the Registry of Motor Vehicles), click here.
If your Excise Tax bill has been marked at the Registry of Motor Vehicles, you may NOT make payment online. You MUST make payment either in cash, money order, or bank check. You may do so by mail or in person at the Collector's Office in Sterling, or at the Office of the Deputy Collector (Kelley & Ryan) in Milford.

Dog Licenses & Requests for Birth, Death or Marriage Certificate
You can also pay for a birth certificate, a death certificate, a marriage certificate or your dog license on line. Please note that if you are purchasing a dog license after April 15th, you are subject to a late fee.
