Agenda Policy
In order to better inform the public about subjects to be discussed at each Board of Selectmen meeting and to comply with the new Commonwealth regulations on Open Meetings, the Board of Selectmen have announced a new policy for agenda items.
The agenda for each Board of Selectmen meeting will close at 12 noon on the Wednesday prior to the scheduled meeting. If you have an item that you would like to have on the Selectmen's agenda, please contact the Board of Selectmen's office or the Town Administrator at 978-422-8111 extension 2316 or place your request online by going to the Request To Get On Agenda page on the website. Any supplemental materials pertaining to your subject should be in the Board of Selectmen office by 3 p.m. the same day so
that it can be distributed to the Select Board for review before the meeting. Requests that come in after the deadline will appear on the agenda of the next scheduled meeting. The Board of Selectmen meet every two weeks.
The agenda for each meeting will be posted to the website and at the Butterick Building no later than the Friday before the meeting. Agendas are subject to change until 48-hours before the meeting. You can review Board of Selectmen agendas online here.
