The van transports seniors to the meal site every day for lunch.  We go to various shopping centers such as Walmart, K-Mart, Target, etc on Wednesday afternoon.  The van is also available for seniors who need rides to appointments with doctors, shopping, banking, and other activities on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons. We transport from Worcester to Fitchburg and all points in between.

Starting January 1, 2010, there is a charge for van rides.  There is a charge of $1.00 for any trip within Sterling's town limits (regardless of the amount of stops) to be paid to the driver at the time of the trip.  It will be $2.00 for any trip outside of Sterling (regardless of the amount of stops) to be paid to the driver at the time of the trip.  If you need a companion with you for safety reasons, there is no charge for the companion.  There is no charge to come to the Senior Center.  If you are unable to pay, please contact the Senior Center office.
